THE LINEUP

THE BAND

Three experienced musicians. From all styles and forms they create a wall of sound with distinctive vocals, feel, and presence.

Sabe Anderson

The Powerhouse

SABE ANDERSON

Lead Vocals, Guitar

Sabe Anderson is the heart and voice of Manic Debris. A melodic force on stage, his distinctive vocals cut through the band's wall of sound with feel and presence that's impossible to ignore. His approach to live performance is emotional and intentional — every note, every word, delivered with purpose.

Music has been Sabe's lifeline from an early age, beginning with the piano as a safe space during difficult times. His personal journey through addiction and a bipolar disorder diagnosis didn't define him — it deepened him. Those experiences became the fuel for his songwriting: raw, honest, and built from things he overcame. "My songs are like my tattoos," he says.

Beyond Manic Debris, Sabe has continued as a creative force. His song "Border" reached over 6 million listeners worldwide through Formula Indie. Along the way he connected with an extraordinary circle of musicians: Matt Fink (Prince and the Revolution), Rhonda Smith, Steve Phillips of Full Fidelity, and David Haymes of Nine Inch Nails — collaborations born from shared passion and mutual respect. Those same connections brought the rest of the Manic Debris family together, uniting the band through music, trust, and a commitment to something real. He founded BipolarBuck — a music and mental health advocacy project blending healthcare, technology, and rock into a movement for healing and community.

A creative entrepreneur, healthcare expert, and tech executive, Sabe has led innovations in digital health systems. But at his core, he remains what he's always been: a musician who sings to keep things simple, share what he's lived, and remind others they are not alone.

David Linkous

The Engine

DAVID LINKOUS

Percussion, Vocals

David Linkous is the rhythmic backbone of Manic Debris — the engine that drives the band forward night after night. Behind the kit, Dave brings a style that is light yet aggressive, hard-driving yet groove-conscious, drawing from a wide palette of influences to create a percussive foundation that's impossible to ignore.

Dave prides himself on reading the room and the music simultaneously — knowing when to push, when to pull back, and when to unleash. His vocal contributions add another dimension to the band's sound, layering harmonies and texture over Sabe's lead and locking in perfectly with Rick's bass to create that signature wall of sound.

Growing up in Northern Virginia, Dave was immersed in a rich and diverse local music scene — a region that produced some of rock's most dedicated underground acts. His appreciation for classic rock, hard rock, and alternative music all converge in his playing, making him as dynamic a drummer as the genre demands.

From the earliest open mic nights in 2005 through the full venue showcases at Jaxx Night Club and KC's Music Alley, Dave has been the constant rhythmic pulse of Manic Debris — steady, powerful, and always driving the band somewhere worth going.

Rick Pascua

The Definition

RICK PASCUA

Bass Guitar, Vocals

Rick Pascua supplies the low end — and with 15+ years performing with bands across the Mid-Atlantic region, he brings a level of experience and authority to the bass that gives Manic Debris its uncompromising definition.

Rick's bass lines are the connective tissue of the band's sound. Deep, melodic, and always locked in with Dave's percussion, his playing bridges the rhythm section and Sabe's guitar work in a way that makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts. He's a musician's musician: understated when the song calls for it, massive when it doesn't.

Hailing from the Mid-Atlantic music circuit — one of the most active and demanding club scenes on the East Coast — Rick has developed his craft through years of real-world performance. Venues like KC's Music Alley, Jaxx Night Club, and L&Bs were not new territory for him; they were home turf.

His vocal contributions, alongside Sabe and Dave, complete the three-part harmony that makes Manic Debris more than just a rock trio. Rick is the anchor of Manic Debris in the truest sense: steady, deep, and always exactly where the music needs him to be.
